I have completed this pre-production activity to not only show my knowledge of the industry standard methods that are used when making pre-production for a film but to also put some formal structure to my film concept and show that I have developed my thinks into a more fully fledged idea. I did this pitch by following a basic structure and providing a more detailed description of what my film is going to be about by presenting it in way of just giving a run down off the whole thing to provide a summary. This will have a great impact on my my final film as this is the films structure and plot, meaning it is a very vital part of the pre-production.

Final Idea
I have completed this pre-production activity to set in stone these early ideas and concepts and to help understand what project I am exactly working towards. To do this I thought practically, logistically and imaginatively to see which idea I preferred and would focus my whole project around. This will greatly impact the outcome of my film project as this sets a basis of what everything is going be and need.
I have chosen to go with my second film idea as I feel it would be a more achievable and practical project to work on compared to my other idea as I prefer the concept and ideas around and within it.

Film Ideas
I have completed this pre-production activity to aid in making a clear set of different ideas for the actual concept of my short film/extract, this helps me to brainstorm ideas and work on them. To do this I used our set-out planning sheet to help guide me in what I needed to do and then took inspiration from my own ideas, other movies and tv shows for help. This will have a great impact on the outcome of my media project as it helps to put in perspective what I am actually working towards and doing, and sets in place a simple but very useful aim of what I want to achieve.

Source Of Finance
I have completed this pre-production activity to understand the different types of funding that go into making different types of films. To create this table, I researched the different types of funding and assessed the positive and negatives of each to help understand that there isn’t just one that is better than the rest, to see that each can work in their own way and work well for different projects. I think this will impact the outcome of my final media project in a positive way since it helps me to understand what kind of funding I will be using for my own film (self-funding) and what I could do for other projects in the future.
Action Plan
I have completed this pre-production activity to set out a basic understanding of everything I think I have to complete for my course work, and put in place a plan to make it simple and easy to get things done in an order and on time. To create this plan, I researched the pre-production activities of other films and looked at examples to put together is plan of what I think I may need to complete in -preparation for my own short film or film extract. I think this will have a great impact on the outcome of my media project since I am able to access this and check and work through everything in an easy manner, and will help with productivity.
